How to Find Python Path Information?

There are use cases when MindsDB Scout can’t find automatically the path to the installed Python. Here are quick guides on how to find the path:

On MacOS Systems

On a terminal run the following command:

which python

After running that command you’ll get something like:

/usr/bin/python

Copy and paste in the text area on the MindsDB GUI, and you should be good to go.

On Linux Systems

On a terminal run the following command:

which python

After running that command you’ll get something like:

/usr/bin/python

Copy and paste in the text area on the MindsDB GUI, and you should be good to go.

On Windows Systems

Please check the following documentation directly from python, explaining how to install, set and find your python path.

Note: MindsDB works with Python versions greater than 3.6. In case you have few Python versions on your system make sure you will use the one required by MindsDB (3.6.x, 3.7.x, or 3.8.x)
